Cars aren’t just my business - they’re my lifelong obsession. At fourteen, I drove my first auction car home, and shortly thereafter, began building my collection. By seventeen, I was selling new cars - within a year, I was the top salesperson at the dealership. Three years later, I was managing the sales department. By twenty four, I was a partner in a new car dealership.
Since then, I’ve owned and operated several dealerships and built a consulting practice that serves some of the largest auto groups in the country, from Seattle to Miami. Today, I advise collectors, investors, celebrities and everyday buyers on everything from future trends in classic cars to smart purchasing, consignment & collection management, and even repairs.

I started as a "lot boy" at 16 years old at a small specialty used car dealership, mainly dealing in Corvettes and "cool" cars, in Erie, PA. A few years later, after some college and a few positions at local car dealerships, I returned to that original place as a salesman, selling & learning more about the “cool" cars that I was original
I started as a "lot boy" at 16 years old at a small specialty used car dealership, mainly dealing in Corvettes and "cool" cars, in Erie, PA. A few years later, after some college and a few positions at local car dealerships, I returned to that original place as a salesman, selling & learning more about the “cool" cars that I was originally excited about and interested in. After a few years, I ended up as a salesman at the local Mercedes Benz dealership, and over the next 22 years, moved steadily up the management ladder.
In 2015, I relocated to Las Vegas to take a position at the Ferrari dealership in the Wynn Hotel Casino & Resort. I have been in Las Vegas since that time, and have held positions at the Ferrari/Maserati dealership as well as the Porsche dealership and worked for a couple of years consigning and selling more of these "cool" cars.
Over the last 40 years, I have made and maintained many relationships through my experience in the car business. I continue to advise, consult and sell to many of these friends and have clients all over the world, including France, Greece, Morocco and many other places in the US and abroad.
I have co-founded Carter Thomas Motorworks in Las Vegas to assist clients in purchasing, consignment of your "special" car, or just for honest advice on anything car related. My partner and I are here to help you make your automotive experience as rewarding as it should be.
